Welcome to Ask Engy (askengy.com), your wardrobe, beautifully organized. The service is operated by Engy Maher Ashour, an individual operator ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Ask Engy you agree to these terms.
Ask Engy lets you photograph and organize your wardrobe, plan outfits, weeks and trips, and use styling features that work from your own closet: photo auto-tagging, outfit logging from selfies, a closet report, and the Ask Engy stylist chat. Styling results are generated with artificial intelligence working from your wardrobe.
Features may evolve over time. We will never remove your access to your own data.
You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person, please.
Photos and wardrobe data you upload remain yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to store them, display them back to you, and process them to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your content, or your whole account, at any time.
Engy offers suggestions, not certainties. She can mislabel a garment, mismatch a colour, or propose an outfit you would never wear. Her styling is advice for your consideration only, not professional advice of any kind, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy. You always decide what to wear.
The free plan includes a 30-piece closet with auto-tagging and a one-time welcome allowance of styling actions (stylist chats, one closet report, and selfie outfit matches). White photo backgrounds are always unlimited. Premium is a monthly subscription at USD 7.99 per month with no fixed caps, subject to fair use.
Payments are handled by our payment partner, Polar, acting as merchant of record: they are the seller of record for tax purposes and process your card; we never see your card details. You can cancel at any time in the subscription portal linked from the app; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for, and cancelling never removes your closet or your data. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Premium has no fixed caps because we trust normal personal use. If usage falls far outside personal use (for example automated or commercial-scale requests), we may ask about it or apply reasonable limits, and we will always talk to you first.
Please only upload photos you have the right to use, keep your use lawful, and do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe its security, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.
We work hard to keep Ask Engy available and your data safe, and the service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws that apply where you live.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page with a new date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
